If you're the slightest bit familiar with Snoop Dogg, then you'll know that the legendary rapper is a dedicated supporter of cannabis culture. A large portion of Snoop's music is devoted to his favorite green substance, with notable lyrics such as, "Smoke the weed, every day / Don't smoke the seeds, no way / Smoke the weed, hey / Smoke the weed."
Eventually, Snoop decided that professing his love for weed through his music simply wasn't enough. In 2015, the rapper teamed up with media entrepreneur Ted Chung to launch Merry Jane, a digital platform that focuses on all things weed-related.
It's easy to imagine, then, that Snoop was thrilled when he learned that he could enjoy his favorite pastime in The Golden State, when California legalized the recreational use of marijuana on January 1st, 2018. In celebration of this momentous piece of legislation, Merry Jane has teamed up with Jack In The Box to provide the perfect meal for recreational users.
According to the Merry Jane website, The Merry Munchie Meal will be available at select Jack In The Box locations in Southern California starting January 18th. The special combo will include "Halfsies (½ curly fries, ½ onion rings and all parts delicious), two of the brand's famous Tacos, five Mini Churros, and three Crispy Chicken Strips, plus a drink." Damn. And all for the small price of $4.20 (wink wink).
The fast-food chain has been known for supporting "stoner culture" in the past. In one Jack In The Box commercial, a stoned young man with a case of the munchies pulls up to the Jack In The Box drive-thru. The commercial suggests that Jack In The Box is an affordable fix for your munchy needs.
The promotion ends January 25th, so whether you have the munchies, or just want to take advantage of this sweet deal, be sure to check it out if you find yourself in the SoCal area.
